Built in the 17th century, The Devon and Cornwall inn, is a traditional cornish inn.

We are open from midday, seven days a week.

We offer a range of real ales, beers, lagers and wines, as well a good cup of tea or coffee.

We use fresh, local produce where possible and offer a range of dishes - freshly cut sandwiches, filled rolls, vegetarian fayre and lunch menu, local specialities, such as fresh sea food  and look out for our foodies features.

Food is usually served in the main bar area, though we do have a separate dining room away from this. This is frequently used as a function room for private events i.e. wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, business meetings etc, so please check with us at least 24hrs in advance, if you would like to use this facility.

...& of course, we are happy to serve you in the beer garden.

We keep an assortment of board games for your entertainment, with a dartboard for the more active!

You may just want to relax on one of our comfortable sofas in front of our open log fire - lit in winter only.

We have a beer garden with a partially covered area, so if you want to sit outside, you can do so without getting wet, should it come to rain!

We do have dogs of our own, so would not be able to accommodate any others, other than guide Dogs.

We also cater for external or ‘outside’ private parties-including working lunches, wedding receptions, outside bars.

But, perhaps, one of the more enigmatic features of the pub is it's resident ghost. Said to be dressed in a long cloak with a dark hat, the unidentified spectre has often been seen by staff and visitors, gracing the passageway leading to the beer garden!
